Duration : 13 weeks
Pay Rate : $59/hr - $61/hr
Shift : Rotational Shifts
Position Summary :
The MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. This role works collaboratively with radiologists, technologists, and healthcare providers to ensure exceptional patient care and accurate diagnostic imaging outcomes. The technologist is responsible for patient preparation, safe and effective use of MRI equipment, and maintaining a professional and compassionate environment.

The technologist is responsible for patient preparation, safe and effective use of MRI equipment, and maintaining a professional and compassionate environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and understanding throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging quality.
- Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment; report maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow proper screening procedures to identify contraindications for MRI examinations.
Requirements:
- Current ARRT (MR) credential required or equivalent MRI certification.
- Current, unencumbered Oregon MRI license required at the time of application.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
- Radiography background with ARRT RT(R) credential preferred.
- Hospital experience preferred—particularly in a high-volume or acute-care setting.
