Position Details:
Social Worker- Lynn, MA
Location                         : Lynn, MA 01904
Project Duration        : 3+months contract
Shift: Day Shift(8) - 8-4:30.
 
Job Description:

• As a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team, the social worker will provide assessment, intervention and aftercare planning for assigned patients on an inpatient behavioral health unit.
• Assures efficient patient utilization of continuum resources through close communication and collaboration with the patient, primary treatment team, insurers, and community and family support systems.
• In collaboration with the treatment team, plans appropriate individual and group treatment plans to meet the ongoing needs of assigned patients Education,

 
Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

• A candidate will have successfully completed a master’s degree in social work and preferably will have had at least one year of social work experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Current valid Massachusetts license in Social Work (LCSW or LICSW).

 
Skills/Qualifications:

• Familiarity with use of electronic medical record such as EPIC -Individual case management and knowledge of managed care -De-escalation/restraint management techniques
• Motivational Interviewing and short-term treatment techniques
• Brief family interventions as needed
• Strong ability to assess and evaluate patient needs and develop treatment plans to address the identified needs.
• Good communication, listening, and interpersonal skills -Strong organizational skills
• Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced work environment COVID Vaccines + Booster required at time of submission (declinations not accepted). BILH cover sheet required--- Active MA license required at time of submissions Local candidates not accepted*** Cannot have worked perm/travel for any Beth Israel facility within the past 6 months.
