Location : 2801 N State Rd 7, Margate, FL 33063
Project Duration : Full-time Permanent
Salary: Salary ranges between $42.80- $53.50- $64.20/ per hr. plus, 10% bonus, possible relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
About the Facility:
Client located in northern Broward County on 441 just south of Sample Road. It is a 228-bed medical center and healthcare complex, continuously expanding and incorporating the latest technology in the delivery of care. Staffed by more than 700 physicians and 1,100 healthcare professionals, Northwest Medical Center prides itself in providing the highest level of services to the population it serves. HCA East Florida is the largest healthcare system in Eastern Florida and an affiliate of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). HCA East Florida has 14 hospitals, multiple ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, imaging centers and free standing emergency care facilities, as well as a supply chain center and an integrated regional lab. Together, HCA East Florida employs more than 18,000 employees and has nearly 7,000 physicians on staff.
Job Summary
Reporting to the CNO, the Nursing Director will direct and manage the operations and activities of the 40-bed Critical Care Department: 16 Intensive Care (ICU) beds, 8 Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVICU) beds and 16 Progressive Care (PCU) beds with 75 FTEs.
As part of Northwest's $66M capital investment initiative, the Critical Care department will be expanding by 22 beds in the next year and a half to meet the growing needs of the community.

Qualifications
Education:
- BSN required, Master’s preferred
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- FL RN Licensure or recognized Compact Licensure
- BCLS, ACLS certifications required CCRN preferred
Experience/ Skills:
- 7+ years nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Must have 3+ years progressive managerial experience
- Must have Director level experience
- Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills required
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of guidelines and requirement or applicable Regulatory agencies such as JCAHO, AHCA, OSHA
