Position Details:
Certified Surgical Tech- Glenwood Springs CO
Location : Glenwood Springs CO 81601
Project Duration : 13 weeks
Pay range : $46-$49 an hour
Shift : Working 4-10's/week; with rotating call schedule
Job description:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel/contract opportunity within a dynamic Operating Room (OR) environment. The ideal candidate will have strong multi-specialty surgical experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
• Assist surgeons during procedures across multiple specialties
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Skills:
• Orthopedics (including total joints)
• Neuro/Spine
• Robotics-assisted surgery
• Urology
• Gynecology (GYN)
• ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat)
• Plastics
Licensure and Certifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) License (State-specific requirement)
• Certification through one of the following:
• NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)
• AST (Association of Surgical Technologists)
• NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (American Heart Association)
