Job Summary:
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) provides immediate, high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries. The RN is responsible for rapid assessment, prioritization, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring of patients in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) provides immediate, high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries. The RN is responsible for rapid assessment, prioritization, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring of patients in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform triage assessments to determine patient priority and acuity
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and initiate care plans
- Provide emergency nursing care, including medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and life-saving interventions
- Assist physicians and healthcare team members during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and hospital protocols
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing (BSc Nursing / GNM or equivalent)
Current certifications such as:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
- TNCC
- Prior 2 experience in emergency or critical care setting (required)
