Position Details:
RN OB Labor & Delivery- Lewistown, MT
Location : Lewistown, MT 59457
Project Duration : 13 weeks Contract
Shift : Nights
Responsibilities for the OB RN Labor & Delivery traveler:
- The L&D RN monitors maternal and fetal wellbeing, manages labor progression, assists with deliveries, and responds promptly to obstetric emergencies.
- This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to provide emotional support to patients and families during one of the most significant moments of their lives.
- Provides for safe, efficient and caring nursing services to achieve high standards of patient care for Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics.
- Includes administering medications, performing cervical exams within scope, interpreting fetal monitoring strips, preparing patients for operative deliveries, and providing postpartum education.
- This nurse plays a critical role in promoting a positive birth experience and ensuring optimal outcomes for both mother and newborn.
- Must have experience in both Labor & Delivery.
- Current Montana RN license required.
- NRP
- Stable
- BLS
