Job Summary:
The Med/Surg Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, as well as post-surgical recovery needs. The RN is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

The Med/Surg Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, as well as post-surgical recovery needs. The RN is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor vital signs, patient status, and response to treatments
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments safely and accurately
- Provide wound care, post-operative care, and patient monitoring
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
