Job Description:
The Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing specialized, high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions in the Intensive Care or Intermediate Care Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong neuro experience, critical thinking skills, and the ability to respond quickly in high-acuity settings.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological injuries and disorders.
- Monitor and assess patients’ neurological status and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility standards and policies.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulations governing patient care.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Neuro ICU or IMCU.
- Active RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certification (current and valid).
- Strong neuro experience must be clearly documented in profile.
- Complete Work History/Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
- Skills Checklist, References, and Certification Cards must be uploaded.
- Candidate profile must include all demographic information and a badge-appropriate photo.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree.
- Experience with neuro monitoring systems and post-neurosurgical care.
