RN-Infection Control Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Infection Control Nurse (RN) to lead and support infection prevention initiatives across the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infection control practices, particularly within the operating room (OR) and sterile processing departments, along with comprehensive knowledge of hospital-wide infection prevention standards.

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and report findings.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Provide guidance and education to staff on infection prevention practices.
• Perform audits in operating rooms, sterile processing, and other hospital departments.
• Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and aseptic techniques are followed.
• Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for regulatory agencies.
• Stay updated with CDC, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 4 years of Infection Control experience in a hospital setting
• Strong experience in Operating Room (OR) and Sterile Processing
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred
• In-depth knowledge of infection prevention standards and protocols
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
