We have Contract role Account Specialist – Hybrid for our client at Bannockburn, IL. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
Position Details
Account Specialist – Hybrid- Bannockburn, IL
Location : Hybrid– Local candidates to Bannockburn, IL preferred
Project Duration : 5 months contract
Pay Rate : $35 to $38/hr on W2
Key Responsibilities
• Assist Account Executives/Brokers on assigned accounts related to commercial risk business activities.
• Identify and retrieve compliance documentation necessary to process renewals, invoices, surplus lines filing, and other client deliverables.
• Support renewal initiation, invoice processing, issuing auto IDs, emergency certificates, endorsements, vehicle suspensions, and other client requests.
• Resolve premium account discrepancies and support post-placement account activities.
• React to field office requests through Broker Desktop tools in a timely manner.
• Ensure Bridge & Broker Desktop system records are accurate and current.
• Liaise with outsourced service providers to ensure timely and quality outputs.
• Upload, index, and attach documents in the Document Management System.
• Perform pre-renewal account reviews with the field office to ensure accuracy of deliverables and timelines.
• Create policy summaries, schedules of insurance, calculate premium allocations, and conduct quality reviews of post-placement outputs.
• Mentor junior staff with more complex account functions.
• Participate in office and client visits and assist with special client projects.
Required Experience:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external clients.
• Understanding of operational processes and methodologies with the ability to work effectively with moderate supervision.
• Strong MS Office skills with emphasis on Excel and Word; V-Lookup experience is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and react quickly in a fast-paced, output-driven environment.
• Must maintain an appropriate insurance broker license or obtain one within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Experience:
• 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of industry experience.
