Position Details:
Emergency Department RN- St Johnsbury, VT
Location : St Johnsbury, VT 05819
Project Duration : 13 weeks
Shift Timing : Nights, three 12-hour shifts per week. 7 pm - 7 am
Job Summary
• We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. In this role, the RN will provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with interdisciplinary teams as needed, and adjust the nursing care plan to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively under pressure while collaborating with healthcare team members to coordinate medical and nursing care. This position requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic environment. Candidates should be proactive, quick learners, and strong team players.
• This opportunity is based in a rural healthcare setting, requiring flexibility and the ability to work independently when needed. Please note that access to transportation may be necessary due to limited public transit options in the area.
Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (State or Compact License)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification – Required
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience – Required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Preferred
