We have Contract role Medical Technologist for our client at Pella, IA. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details:
Medical Technologist- Pella, IA
Location                            : Pella, IA 50219
Project Duration           : 13 weeks
Shift                                    :  6:00AM - 2:30PM
 
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, the Medical Technologist completes appropriate laboratory testing. The Medical Technologist must demonstrate the ability to work with neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatric persons. Participate in performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.
 
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Currently registered MT or eligible for registration, ASCP or equivalent.
• Prior experience preferred. New hires may be trained into the position.
• Must be willing to meet the on-call requirements of the position, including the ability to respond to the facility within the required time frames while on call for the facility.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required. New employees certify within three (3) months after hire date.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

• Basic clerical skills.
• Ability to communicate with tact and professionalism.
• Expresses ideas in a clear, creative and succinct manner.
• Flexibility for shift rotation within the department.
