What Does Your Day As An Obstetrics Nurse Manager Entail?

• Your typical schedule will consist of two 12-hour shifts as a registered nurse (RN) and two administrative days, equating to 40 hours per week.
• As the Obstetrics Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing department employees, overseeing policies, and handling daily issues to ensure the efficient operation of the OB unit.
• Your responsibilities will include providing direction for patient care in the maternity and newborn care setting and ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to every mother and baby who enters our facility.
• Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for both patients and staff, contributing to the overall success of our OB department. We deliver about 1 baby per day, there are 2 RN's on shift and this position reports to the CNO.

 
Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Current licensure to practice as an RN by the Arizona State Board of Nursing
• 2+ years of progressive nursing experience in which principles of nursing practice, judgment, and supervisory abilities have been demonstrated
• A master's degree is preferred but not required.
• **Relocation to the service area is Required**
