Position Details:
CT/Radiologic Technologist- Pagosa Springs, CO
Location : Pagosa Springs, CO 81147
Project Duration : 13 weeks
Pay range : $60/hr – 65/hr
Shift : Night shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 pm - 7:00 a.m.
Job Description:
The CT/Radiologic Technologist supports the mission and values of the organization by performing high-quality radiographic and CT imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. Under the direct supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Manager, the technologist works collaboratively with radiologists, surgeons, and ordering providers. In addition to imaging, the technologist assists with biopsies, fluoroscopic exams, and other diagnostic procedures as needed. This role requires effective communication with patients and families and strong collaboration with interdepartmental teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT imaging examinations according to established protocols.
- Assist radiologists, surgeons, and providers with biopsies, fluoroscopic procedures, and other imaging-related procedures.
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain image quality standards and accurate documentation.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdepartmental personnel.
- Adhere to departmental policies, safety standards, and organizational values.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- CT Registered required (ARRT CT).
- Active ARRT (R) certification required.
- State licensure as applicable.
- Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
