Position Details:
Float Pool RN Medical Surgical- Gainesville, FL
Location                            : Gainesville, FL 32614
Project Duration           : Full Time Permanent Job
SOB                                       : $20K
Shift Timing                    :  Days & Nights
     
Available Shifts: (The days the candidate would be working could vary and they will work every other weekend) 3*12-hour shifts
                                          
Job Summary:  
We are seeking a dynamic Float Pool RN to join our team. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner. You will have the unique ability to “float” between several different areas across the nursing spectrum.
 
What will you will do in this role:

• Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality
• Facilitate patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis
• Provide plan-based care with a commitment to continuous improvement 

 
Job Requirements:

• 1 year of recent (within the last 2 years) Med-Surg acute care RN experience Required   *Needs to be flexible on floating to multiple units *ONLY MED-SURG EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE
• If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They’ll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward.

 
If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License) 

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
• Nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• A Client Level 2 background screen and fingerprinting required.
