We have Contract role Radiology Tech for our State College, PA. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details:
Radiology Tech- State College, PA
Location                         : State College, PA 16801
Project Duration        : 3 + Month contract
 
Shift Details: Days 8 - 5
 
Position Summary:

• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures and respond to patient questions.
• Perform diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered by physicians.

 
Minimum Requirements:
Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a specialized training program in Radiological Technology by approved the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

 
Experience:

• One year of experience preferred performing radiological procedures in a hospital, clinic or physician’s office.

 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
• Knowledge of radiologic equipment and procedures and safety hazards common to radiology including equipment, body mechanics and patient movement.
• Ability to speak clearly and communicate effectively and to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions and procedures.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and perform simple adjustments.

 
License/Certification/Registration:

• Registered with the ARRT in Radiology.
• Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
