Location : Lawton, OK 73505
Duration : 13 weeks /3 months
Salary Range : $55 -$58/ hourly on W2
Shift Timing : 8:00am-4:30pm 8-hour day shifts
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic cardiovascular team. Our state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory provides comprehensive cardiac and peripheral vascular services with the client. The Cath Lab RN will play a critical role in patient care by monitoring patients during procedures, assisting physicians, and ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes throughout the procedural and recovery process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
- Provide patient education and support throughout the treatment process.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in pre-procedure and post-procedure recovery areas as needed.
- Transport patients and support departmental workflow.
- Participate in on-call rotation, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 years of Cath Lab experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and procedural sedation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
