Position Details:
RN Surgery (General OR)- Zanesville, OH
Location : Zanesville, OH 43701
Duration : 13 Weeks Contract
Salary Range : $50- $51/hr.
Shift Timing : 36 hours per week on day/7:00 AM – 7:30 PM/Four 10-hour/7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a fast-paced surgical services team. The ideal candidate will have strong recent OR experience and the ability to provide exceptional patient care throughout all phases of the perioperative process. Candidates with experience in Robotic, Neuro, and Orthopedic procedures are highly preferred.
The RN will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient surgical care while maintaining high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and surgical supplies
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately during surgical procedures
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
• Support patient safety initiatives and quality care standards
Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Operating Room experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
