Position Details:
Retail Pharmacist- Zanesville, OH
Location : Zanesville, OH 43701
Project Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Varied shifts (40hr/week with a weekend/holiday rotation)
Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Retail Pharmacist to provide safe, accurate medication dispensing and patient counseling in a community retail setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify, prepare, and dispense prescriptions accurately.
- Review medications for interactions, allergies, and proper dosing.
- Counsel patients on medication use and provide immunizations.
- Maintain pharmacy records and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with providers, insurance teams, and oversee pharmacy technicians.
- Manage inventory and support daily pharmacy operations.
Qualifications:
- PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy.
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing required.
- Minimum 1 year of current retail-based experience required.
- Vaccination certification required at the time of submission.
- Experience with RX30 pharmacy system is a plus.
- Strong communication, customer service, and clinical skills.
