Position Details:
CT Technologist - Atlanta, GA
Location                            : Atlanta, GA 30303
Project Duration             : 13 Weeks / Contract
Shift Timing                     : Nights
 
Job Summary

• Perform a variety of CT scans for patients with accuracy and precision.
• Work with physicians to ensure that appropriate imaging procedures are followed.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are captured and document technical factors related to procedures.
• Follow established protocols for patient positioning, radiation safety, and imaging techniques.
• Ability to perform X-ray exams in addition to CT scans when necessary.
• Ensure proper functioning of CT and X-ray equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on imaging equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Assist patients in proper positioning on imaging tables and provide clear instructions on the imaging process.
• Provide support and assistance for patients with mobility challenges or special needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and ease any anxieties.

 
What qualifications you will need: 

• They will work weekends and weekdays. Some day shift and some night shift.
• Must be flexible with schedule.
• Generally, we assign 1 Tech to each scanner, and 2 Techs are stationed in the control room.

Additionally, one Tech is usually assigned to the ED as a stand-alone position, but the other ED Techs are available to assist with lifting or other support as
