We have Contract role Cardiovascular Technologist for our client at Atlanta, GA. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details:
Cardiovascular Technologist- Atlanta, GA
Location                            : Atlanta, GA 30303
Project Duration             : 13 Weeks / Contract
Shift Timing                     : 12hr Nights
 
Job Summary

• Perform diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, electrocardiograms (EKGs), stress tests, and vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining tests, answering questions, and ensuring comfort.
• Operate and maintain cardiovascular diagnostic equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor patients’ blood pressure and heart rate during diagnostic exams.
• Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures such as cardiac catheterization.
• Record and analyze test results, preparing reports for interpretation by cardiologists.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated and functioning properly; report malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following infection control policies.

 
What qualifications you will need: 

• CVOR Tech, 2 years CVOR required.
• OR only averages 2 open hearts (Cabg/ Valve replacements) and 2 Cardio Thoracic per week (Thoracotomy).
• Must take call after their shift and 24 hours on the weekend, which averages out to 2 weeks per month.
• Please inform the candidates that the likelihood of being called in is VERY MINIMAL.
• RELIABILITY IS IMPERATIVE!! Able to scrub other services when cardiac does not have cases.
• Would be helpful if they have trauma and Robotic experience.
• Call based on procedures and not necessarily M-F, will include weekends.
