RN - ICU- Sweetwater TX,

Location                           : Sweetwater TX, 79556

Project Duration          : 13 weeks

Pay range                        : $43-$46 an hour

Shift                                   : Nights 7p -7a, days are negotiable

Job description:

Summary:

A Registered Nurse (ICU) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill individuals in an intensive care setting. This role involves continuous monitoring, timely intervention, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

•         Monitor and assess critically ill patients, including both adult and occasional pediatric cases.

•         Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-support interventions as prescribed.

•         Operate and manage ICU equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion devices.

•         Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide advanced life support when required.

•         Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver patient care.

•         Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare standards.

•         Provide support and education to patients and their families.

Qualifications & Requirements:

•         Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.

•         Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.

•         Prior experience in ICU or critical care preferred.

•         Ability to manage both adult and pediatric patients when necessary.

•         Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical skills.
