R&D Technician- Colorado Springs, CO
Location : Colorado Springs, CO (Onsite)
Project Duration : 2 Years Contract
Pay Rate : $28/hr. to $30/hr. on W2
Job Description:
Summary:
This role involves supporting R&D, technical support, marketing, and NPI teams in calibration, maintenance, validation, and servicing of oscilloscope equipment and related systems. The candidate will work in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment and help ensure equipment performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform oscilloscope calibration for active product families
• Install/reinstall oscilloscope and QUADS software
• Coordinate oscilloscope hardware servicing and maintenance
• Validate oscilloscope applications and submit issues when required
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with local teams
• Ensure operational readiness of related equipment and tools
• Support SSD imaging activities for equipment setup
Required Qualifications:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment
• General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing
• Experience with electronic mechanical assembly and torque drivers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Higher education or certifications in electronics
• Experience using electronic test equipment, especially oscilloscopes and probes
