We have Contract role Finance Manager-Hybrid for our client at Hartford CT. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details:
Finance Manager-Hybrid- Chicago IL
Location                         : Chicago IL - 60601 - Hybrid
Project Duration        : 7+ months of contract to hire
Pay rate                          : $80 an hour on W2

Job Description:

• To provide dedicated financial oversight and support for the NA Target Operating Model program, with a specific focus on:
• Tracking resource transitions (headcount and related costs and savings)
• Liaising with local HR and Project teams to validate related people costs
• Ensuring correct accounting treatment (e.g., restructured, and non-restructured)
• Quantifying and tracking associated Investments and Net Run Impact (New On-Going Costs + Gross Savings) Actuals against the approved business cases
• Forecasting all aspects of the Project spend (Investments, New Run Costs, Gross Savings) with comparisons against approved business cases
• Submit quarterly Comparability Adjustments, as required
• Providing clear, timely reporting to Lead FP&A and project leadership

 
A. Program Tracking and Benefits Realisation:

• Work with HR, business leaders, and the program office to:
• Maintain a detailed Transitions Tracker (by Wave, Solution Line, Team, cost center, cost type, etc.)
• Translate headcount transitions expenses and savings into:  Opex vs. Capex, Restructuring vs. non-Restructuring Investments, Gross Savings, New On-Going Run
• Comparison to approved business cases
• Align savings tracking with original business case and latest forecast
• Provide monthly and quarterly summaries of:  Actual vs. planned net savings (by project and initiative), Explanations for deviations (delayed hires/exits, scope changes, rate changes, etc.)
• Flag risks and opportunities
   

B. FP&A Process Support – Analysis, Reporting and Forecast

• Prepare regular analysis for:
•  
• Project Steering Committee / Program Management Office (PMO)
• Integrate program impacts into:
• Monthly close and management reporting
• Forecasts, budget, and long-range planning
• Ensure all program-related assumptions are documented, transparent, and aligned with wider FP&A deliverables.
