Project Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 7pm-7am 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule period.
Job Summary
The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a 14-bed Med-Surg unit. The RN is responsible for patient assessment, medication administration, treatment implementation, and ongoing monitoring to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Job Summary
The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a 14-bed Med-Surg unit. The RN is responsible for patient assessment, medication administration, treatment implementation, and ongoing monitoring to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications accurately and safely.
- Perform clinical procedures including changing dressings, inserting catheters, and initiating IV therapy.
- Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment as needed.
- Interpret and document patient measurements and vital signs.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and report adverse reactions to medications promptly.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage a 1:5 patient ratio in a fast-paced unit
