Position Details:
Director of Surgical Services- Port St Lucie, FL
Location                               : Port St Lucie, FL
Project Duration              : Fulltime Permanent
 
What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required
• Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required
• Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
• Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred

Additional Information:

• 222 beds with expansion of 60 beds within 18-20 months
• 10 ORs
• 4 Robots: DaVinci XI, Mako, Rosa & a one that has a beam
• Very busy: Ortho, urology, Urogynecology, Gynecology
• Reports to Director: Manager, 1 CNC OR & 1 CNC for PACU, Pre-Op& SPD Manager
• Director oversees: OR, Pre-op, PACU, PAT, SPD& Endoscopy
• 92 FTEs total & 4 leaders
• Hospital is in the upper 25% of the division
• Director needs to be able to scrub or circulate if necessary
•  Culture is: amazing staff
• The OR is staffed with a waiting list to work in the OR
