Position Details:
CT Technologist- Winchester, MA 
Location                           : Winchester, MA 01890
Project Duration          : 13 Weeks/Contract
 
Job Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT scans for patients with accuracy and precision.
• Work with physicians to ensure that appropriate imaging procedures are followed.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are captured and document technical factors related to procedures.
• Follow established protocols for patient positioning, radiation safety, and imaging techniques.
• Ability to perform X-ray exams in addition to CT scans when necessary.
• Ensure proper functioning of CT and X-ray equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on imaging equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Assist patients in proper positioning on imaging tables and provide clear instructions on the imaging process.
• Provide support and assistance for patients with mobility challenges or special needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and ease any anxieties.

 
Job Qualifications

• Two-year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology Proficient in scanning in a HIGH-volume trauma setting.
• Previous experience in trauma preferred Registered by the ARRT, Licensed by State of MA, Current BLS Sample.
• BILH Coversheet Require.
• Cannot have worked perm/travel for any Beth Israel facility within the past six months.
• COVID Vaccines + Booster required at time of submission.
• 2024-2025 flu vaccine required at time of submission (declinations not accepted).
• If candidate does not have current flu vaccine, we will accept an attestation stating they will receive it prior to start.
