Position Details:
ICU RN- Globe, AZ
Location                            : Globe, AZ 85501
Project Duration           : 13 weeks
Shift                                    : 12 hr Nights Shift
 
Position Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to join our critical care team.
• The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced clinical skills, rapid assessment abilities, and sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment.

 
Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, ventilator settings, and hemodynamic parameters.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, infusions, and blood products following established policies and protocols.
• Operate and troubleshoot critical care equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and life-support systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to create and adjust individualized care plans.
• Provide support and education to patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and critical illness.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in emergency response situations, including codes and rapid response calls.
• Uphold infection control policies and maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.

 
Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1–2 years of ICU or critical care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

 
Required Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
