Ultrasound Technologist- Lawton, OK
Location                            : Lawton, OK 73505
Project Duration           : 12-week contract to permanent
Shift                                    : M-F 8 hour days
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensuring accuracy and exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in performing vascular studies, including vein mapping and peripheral venous/arterial Dopplers.
 
Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and physician requests.
• Conduct vein mapping and peripheral venous/arterial Doppler studies accurately.
• Maintain equipment, report malfunctions, and ensure cleanliness and safety of ultrasound rooms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide accurate diagnostic data.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory standards.
• Ensure all compliance and documentation requirements are completed prior to the start date.

 
Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of recent ultrasound experience — Required
• Proficiency in vein mapping and peripheral venous/arterial Dopplers — Required
• All compliance documents must be submitted one week prior to start date
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional and compassionate approach toward patients.

 
Certification Requirements:

• ARDMS – must hold RDCS and RVT credentials (applicants without active copies may still be reviewed)
• BLS (AHA) – Required
