Position Details:
Emergency Room Nurse- Globe, AZ
Location : Globe, AZ 85501
Project Duration : 13 Weeks Contract
Salary Range : $55/hr - $60/hr
Shift : Nights
Job Summary:
The Emergency Room RN provides rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment for patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. This role requires strong triage skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform triage assessments and prioritize patients based on acuity
• Deliver emergency care for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and critical conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions
• Assist with procedures such as intubation, defibrillation, and wound care
• Monitor patient condition and respond to rapid changes
• Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, real-time documentation in EMR systems
• Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ADN or BSN degree
• Minimum 1–2 years of ER experience required
Required Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Preferred Certifications:
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
