Location                            : Atlanta, GA
Project Duration           : 13 weeks
Shift                                    : Night Shift
 
Job Description:

• The Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical is responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions and post-surgical needs.
• The RN collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patients to promote optimal recovery and positive clinical outcomes.

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for assigned patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies and nursing standards.
• Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and respond promptly to clinical needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, quality initiatives, and professional development activities.

 
Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience required.

 
Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC EMR system is required.
