Position Details:
Inspector II (W2 Only) - Plymouth MN
Location                             : Plymouth MN 55442
Project Duration            : This is a 12 months contract with potential to extend highly likely
Pay Rate                             : $17.00/hr. on W2
Hours                                : 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
 
Job Description
 
Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing of purchased materials, components, and products according to documented policies and procedures.
• Record inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures.
• Operate associated test and measurement equipment as instructed and documented in procedures.
• Document non-conformances in the Non-Conforming Material Review (NCMR) system.
• Conduct testing and inspection in accordance with special test requests.
• Collect data for First Article Inspections (FAI).
• Participate in Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) studies as directed by engineers or technicians.
• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and trending data for quality improvement initiatives.

Additional Duties:

• Recommend changes to policies and procedures; may prepare and submit change requests.
• Train other inspectors as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as required in support of department goals.
• Support all Divisional initiatives as identified by management, including compliance with:
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
  • Other regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO).
