We have Contract role Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for our client at Laramie, WY. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details:
Diagnostic Medical Sonographer- Laramie, WY
Location                            : Laramie, WY
Project Duration           : 13 Weeks  
Shift                                    : Rotating
 
Job Description:

• Performs complete diagnostic imaging tests/ultrasound studies inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings.

 
Essential Functions :

• Performs general ultrasound.
• Assists radiologist with ultrasound procedures.
• Provides verbal reports to radiologist and other providers.
• Other duties as assigned.

 
Education :

• Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program or equivalent required.

 
Experience:

• One (1) year hospital experience preferred.
• Registered ARRT(R) preferred.
• Experienced in non-invasive vascular and echocardiography exams preferred.

 
Credentials:

• Must be ARDMS registered or obtain within one year of hire.
• Will cross-train in Echo/Stress Echo.
• Will cross-train in non-invasive vascular exams.
• Must be BLS certified within 60 days of hire and must maintain certification throughout employment with IMH.

• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, managers and the general public verbally and in writing.

• Ability to work effectively without immediate supervision.
• Ability to learn new computer software programs.
• Ability to recognize and protect confidential information.
• Demonstrate ethical and legal accountability for the position.
