Job Description:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, providing expert guidance on the safe and effective use of prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Prepare, dispense, and monitor medications according to established protocols.
• Provide patient counseling on prescribed medications, including usage, side effects, and storage.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate inventory and manage medication stock levels.
• Monitor for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and therapeutic duplications.
• Participate in quality assurance and medication safety initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new drugs, treatments, and pharmaceutical regulations.

 
Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from an accredited institution.
• License: Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Experience: Minimum [1–3 years] of relevant pharmacy experience preferred (hospital/clinical/retail setting).
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and clinical therapeutics.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
