Admissions Nurse – RN- Bethlehem, PA

Location                            : Bethlehem, PA 18018
Project Duration         : Full Time/Permanent (No weekends)

The RN range is $32.00-$36.00 OR $62,000 - $70,000
 
Schedule- FULL TIME

• Monday – Friday 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm OR 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm, depending on needs. 
• 37.5 hours per week - NO HOLIDAYS OR WEEKENDS

Job Summary
The RN Admissions Nurse will initiate the initial plan of care with the authorization of the attending physician and medical director and complete the admission process according to facility policy. This includes explaining STR services to patients and family members and ensuring all patient’s initial needs are met.  Communicate with the Inter-Disciplinary team members regarding the initial plan of care, the patient’s condition, and other essential information.  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication required.
 
Education

• ADN/BSN

 
Work Experience

• Minimally - 1 year of experience as a nurse, preferably in a skilled nursing care setting
• Prior experience in an Admissions Nurse role at skilled nursing, subacute rehab or other fast paced healthcare facility/unit is a must. 
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC)
• Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities as cited above will be considered. 
• Must presents a polished, professional image!

 
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and provide a patient-centered experience for all admissions while embracing the values and mission of HFSL – to provide the highest quality of physical, emotional, social and spiritual care, with dignity and compassion, to meet the needs of the older adults we serve.
 
Required Licenses/Certifications

• BLS/ACLS
• Current and valid RN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
