Position Details:
CAN- Cody, WY
Location                           : Cody, WY 82414
Duration                          : 13 weeks
Pay Rate                           : $28/hr-$30/hr
Shift                                   :  6 PM – 6:30 AM
 
Job Description:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic patient care and support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The CNA assists patients with daily living activities, promotes comfort and safety, and helps maintain a clean and supportive healthcare environment.
 
Responsibilities :

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning
• Observe and report changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Maintain patient hygiene and comfort
• Collect specimens (urine, stool, etc.) as directed
• Assist with basic medical procedures under supervision
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient care areas
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies
• Provide emotional support and respectful care to patients and families

 
Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program
• Current CNA certification in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required, depending on facility)
