Location                         : Red Lodge, MT 59068
Project Duration        : 3+ months contract/ 13 weeks
Shift                                 : Day 4 - 10 hour shifts per week: 07:30 – 18:30 and 08:00 – 19:00
 
Job Description:
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible X-ray/CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team. This role requires proficiency in both general diagnostic radiography and computed tomography (CT). The technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. The ideal candidate is experienced, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate radiographic and CT equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders, department protocols, and patient safety standards
• Position patients accurately and explain procedures clearly to minimize discomfort and anxiety
• Ensure proper exposure factors, equipment settings, and imaging techniques for optimal image quality
• Complete exams in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and verify images in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging equipment and work area
• Perform routine quality assurance and equipment checks
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to provide timely and accurate imaging results
• Participate in the department's on-call schedule (1–2 nights per week)

 
Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 years of experience in both radiography and CT imaging
• Valid certification through ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) or eligible
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient care techniques
• Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
