Job Description:
- We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our Client's team on a contract basis in Arcata, CA.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition assessments, developing tailored dietary plans, and supporting patients in achieving their health and wellness goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and develop individualized meal plans.
- Educate patients on proper nutrition and dietary habits based on their medical conditions and goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust dietary plans as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest nutrition research and guidelines to enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with active licensure in California.
- Previous experience in clinical, community, or healthcare settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate and support patients.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
