Position Details:
CT Tech - Albany, OR
Location                           : Albany, OR 97321
Duration                          : 13 weeks
Shift                                   :  Days (0700-1700) no weekends
 
Job Description:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This role requires operating CT scanning equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and producing high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards.
 
Responsibilities :

• Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, following established protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining exams and positioning patients correctly
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Administer contrast media when required, following safety guidelines
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout procedures
• Evaluate image quality and make adjustments as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Follow radiation safety and infection control policies
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations

 
Requirements:

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential required upon submission.
• Current ARRT (CT) credential required upon submission.
• Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
