Ultrasound Technologist- Winchester, MA
Location : Winchester, MA 01890
Project Duration : 13 Weeks/Contract

Job Summary
- Perform a variety of general and vascular ultrasound examinations using advanced imaging equipment.
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to radiologists for interpretation.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout all procedures.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment according to established protocols.
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images.
- Adjust equipment settings to capture the best images.
- Capture images of organs, tissues, or blood flow for physician review.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures.
- Explain the procedure to alleviate patient anxiety.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
- Two years’ experience.
- General experience preferred ARDMS certification.
- BLS required
- Must be able to do abdomen, pelvis, TV, small parts, DVT and OB 1st, and 3rd trimester along with BPP.
- Ability To Work Independently.
