We have Contract role CT Technologist for our client at Chico, CA. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details:
CT Technologist- Chico, CA
Location                           : Chico, CA 95926
Duration                          : 13 weeks
Pay Rate                           : $65/hr-$70/hr
Shift                                   :  12-hour, 1900 start time, weekend rotation is required
 
Job Description:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The role requires ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with imaging protocols while maintaining equipment performance and adhering to radiation safety standards.
 
Responsibilities :

• Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients correctly for CT imaging procedures
• Administer contrast media when required, following safety guidelines
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment and related accessories
• Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff
• Respond to emergency situations as needed
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities

 
Requirements:

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
• AART
• Fluoroscopy permit
• Current CPR Certification
• At Least 2 year of previous CT scanning experience, experience with Client scanners preferred
• Prior successful completion of traveler assignments
• EPIC EMR experience
