Pay Rate : $112,000.00 to $151,000.00
Job Description:
Under the general direction of the Radiology Manager and the supervision of the Lead IR Technologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. The Interventional Technologist (IR Tech) will be a Diagnostic Technologist which is cross trained in Interventional Radiology. Assumes responsibility for designated areas as assigned. The Technologist operates X-ray equipment, prepares patient’s room, equipment, supplies, and contrast media. The Tech will be responsible for charging supplies and Current Procedural Terminology codes.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
- Two years’ experience in diagnostic x-ray
- Previous interventional experience
- One year experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist in an acute healthcare facility.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
- Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT) required
- Current CPR certification required
- ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire required
- ARRT Advanced Level Interventional Certification (Cardiovascular Interventional Technology) is preferred
