Location                            : Pagosa Springs, CO 81147
Project Duration           : 13-week contract
Pay range                         : $60- $64/ hr on W2 with limited benefits
Shift                                    : Weekend Night Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 20:30 – 08:00
Job Summary:
Position Summary
The CT/Radiologic Technologist supports the mission, vision, and values of [Facility/Organization Name]. Under the direct supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Manager, this position is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans and radiographic exams, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury. The technologist collaborates with Radiologists, Surgeons, and ordering providers, assisting in procedures such as biopsies and fluoroscopic exams as needed, while ensuring optimal patient care, safety, and comfort.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform CT and general radiographic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols, policies, and safety standards.
• Assist Radiologists and providers with interventional and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Verify patient identification and obtain appropriate clinical history for each exam.
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients during imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and completeness prior to submission for interpretation.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in continuing education and remain current with advancements in imaging technologies.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

 
Qualifications
Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiography and computed tomography preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Current ARRT (R) certification required.
• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• State licensure as required by applicable regulations.
