CT/X Ray Tech-Salida CO
Location                            : Salida, CO 81201
Project Duration           : 13 Weeks  
Salary Range                   : $59.00/hr. - $63.00/hr.
Shift                                     : Days 
 
Job Summary:
 
We are looking to employ a skilled CT technologist to operate our CT scanning equipment and capture diagnostic images that are of good technical quality. The CT Technologist’s responsibilities include taking inventory of radiologic supplies, ensuring that the radiologic equipment is in good working order, and adhering to established guidelines on hygiene and infection control. You should also be able to monitor patients throughout the scanning procedure to identify and respond to any allergic reactions to the contrast agents.
 
CT/X-Ray Tech Requirements:

• Must have graduated from an approved ARRT program
• Current Registration by the ARRT (R)(CT)(MR) or its equivalent.
• Experience in Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist & Sleep Technologist.
• Transports patients to and from department and assists patient from bed or gurney to exam  table.
• Assures that any required consent forms are signed prior to examination, and obtains  pertinent and adequate history on all patient exams.
• Obtains and fills out proper reaction sheets and histories as necessary for all patients; and  advises physician of allergies as warranted.
• Practices sterile techniques and cleanliness at all times to prevent cross-contamination.
• Performs radiographic procedures in the operating rooms, emergency rooms, recovery  room and patient rooms, using portable equipment in a safe, efficient atmosphere..
