Registered Respiratory Therapist- Grand Junction, CO
Location : Grand Junction, CO 81505
Project Duration : Full time/ Permanent
Shift : Night Shift
Pay Rate : $34/hr. to 39/hr.
Sign on Bonus : $ 10,000
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality respiratory care, cardiopulmonary, and neuro-diagnostics.
- Provide respiratory therapy treatments: oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, IPPB, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, sputum induction.
- Conduct cardio-pulmonary diagnostics: ECGs, cardiac stress testing, Lexiscan, dypridimal, dobutamine, stress echocardiogram, tilt test, holter scanning, PFT, ABG sampling and analysis, bronchoscopy assistance, EEGs, home sleep studies, and nocturnal oximetry.
- Document patient records per departmental standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Current BLS certification. ACLS required within 6 months of employment.
- Current, unrestricted Colorado license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- CRT required, RRT within 2 years, NRP preferred.
Compensation:
- Pay range: $34/hr. to 39/hr. per hour, depending on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
