Salary : $56,326.00 to $84,489.00

Position Summary
The Radiologic Technologist provides diagnostic imaging services using a variety of imaging modalities to support accurate diagnosis and high-quality patient care. This position is responsible for safe and accurate image acquisition, adherence to radiation safety standards, patient education, and maintaining a professional and compassionate environment throughout the patient experience.
Position-Specific Performance Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities
Diagnostic Imaging & Technical Responsibilities
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in radiographic procedures, including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and OR imaging support.
- Performs all exams in accordance with Imaging Department protocols or collaborates with the Radiologist to confirm appropriate exam protocols.
- Applies radiation safety principles, ensuring adherence to ALARA standards.
- Operates all imaging equipment safely and accurately in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
- Troubleshoots equipment issues and initiates service calls when outside maintenance is required.
Patient Identification, Education & Documentation
- Verifies exam orders and performs patient identification using two approved identifiers.
- Educates patients regarding procedures, expectations, and required preparation, ensuring understanding and comfort.
- Obtains and documents relevant patient medical history, informed consent, and necessary pre-procedure documentation.
- Ensures prior studies and required paperwork are complete and available for Radiologist interpretation.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), including exam charges and supply usage.
Operational Flexibility & Cross-Functional Support
- Assists in other modalities as needed and demonstrates flexibility with scheduling, including call, overtime, and holiday shifts.
- Participates in cross-training and obtains additional certifications as required.
- Supports clerical tasks, phone reception, and patient transport when necessary.
- Provides assistance in training and cross-training imaging staff as directed.
- Maintains supply inventory, orders materials, and ensures adequate stock for daily operations.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
General Requirements
- Minimum age 18 years (21 years if position includes driving responsibilities).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
- Completion of Employee Health evaluation prior to start date.
Education, Licensure, and Certifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- ARRT registration in Radiography (R).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 90 days of hire/transfer.
