We have Contract role Service Technical Support - Career (Swing) for our client at Santa Rosa, CA. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.
 
Position Details:
Service Technical Support - Career (Swing)- Santa Rosa, CA
Location                            : Santa Rosa, CA 95403
Project Duration           : 2 Years of contract
Pay range                         : $30 an hour on W2
Description:
The Quality Operations Support candidate will support *** manufactured test equipment.
 
Specific duties include:

• mechanical measurement of precision milled and turned sub-miniature high frequency electronic parts to ensure functionality and accuracy.
• The candidate will be responsible for for performing inspection of sub-assemblies or final assemblies or *** products.
• Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, and/or diagrams in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies.
• Maintains records and/ or databases.
• Working within the designated area of expertise, the candidate will clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting *** technicians and NPI Engineers.

 
Requirements:

• Prior experience is strongly preferred. Applicant should have at least 4 years of related experience.
• This position requires some education, and/or specialized training/certification
• Must have strong Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) background, and be able to read blueprints.
• Should have basic understanding of mechanical metrology hand tool usage.
• GD&T experience is a MUST. The manager indicated that this is not something that is "trainable".
• Experience using automated software platforms is a plus. Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers preferred.
• Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates electronic and mechanical competence.
• Works with clearly defined objectives
• Solves technical problems of limited scope and complexity.
• Exhibits the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with wide range of people.
• Adheres to the highest standards of business ethics.
