RN-ICU/PCU

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled ICU/PCU Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of recent experience in critical care and progressive care settings. The RN will provide direct patient care to critically ill and high-acuity patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

•         Provide direct nursing care to ICU and PCU patients in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

•         Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment.

•         Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments accurately and safely.

•         Operate and monitor critical care equipment including cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and telemetry devices.

•         Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.

•         Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and emergency situations.

•         Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes.

•         Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation.

Requirements:

•         Minimum 1 year of recent ICU and/or PCU RN experience required.

•         Active RN License required.

•         BLS and ACLS certifications required.

•         Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.

•         Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Certifications Required:

•         BLS Certification

•         ACLS Certification

•         NIHSS preferred (if required by facility)
