Outpatient Physical Therapist - Chico, CA
Location : 1531 Esplanade, Chico, CA 95926
Project Type : Full Time Permanent
Shift Available : Days
Pay Range : $99K - $130K Annually (Based on experience) + Full Benefits
Sign on : Up to $7500
Relocation Assistance Available.
Student Loan Forgiveness Program.
Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment upon physician referral to a patient population consisting of varying diagnosis. The Physical Therapist will assess, identify and treat all areas of deficits impacting self-care, functional mobility, upper extremity function, behavior, cognition and perception and the ability to function in their life’s role. The Physical Therapist provides instruction and education to the patient/caregiver to promote the safe execution of the facilitatory techniques taught.
Experience:
One year experience in acute care, extended care, rehabilitation, mental health or outpatient setting
Licenses / Certifications:
Current Physical Therapy license from the State of California or has been granted a limited permit from the State of California. Licensed applicant must successfully complete next available examination to continue employment.
Current CPR recognition
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family. Clinical skills and knowledge to successfully achieve desired outcomes in assigned patients. Ability to provide treatment to address the practical and realistic needs and goals of the patient.
