Location                            : Tuba City, AZ 86045
Project Duration           : 13 weeks
Salary Range                   : $50/hr - $54/hr 
Shift                                    : Flexible days/eves/Night & weekends
Job Summary
The ER RN performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional nursing knowledge, consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments, and the ability to work independently in completing assignments. Nursing care is provided according to physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures, and hospital policies. The role supports patients of all ages and their families.
 
Required Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• PALS (American Heart Association)
• NRP required within one (1) year of hire
• TNCC required within one (1) year of hire
• ENPC required within one (1) year of hire
• NIHSS required within six (6) months of hire
• Emergency Severity Index (ESI) Level 5 required within three (3) months of hire
• Patient Sitter Competency Training required upon hire

 
Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions
• Administer treatments and medications according to physician orders
• Follow established standards of care, nursing policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Deliver patient and family-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Respond effectively to emergency and critical care situations
